Welcome to the National Forensic Service Busan Institute. The Busan Institute was established in Yeongdo, Busan on March 16, 1993 and relocated to Yangsan on October 20, 2011. It aims to protect lives and safety by preventing crimes and solving social unrest through various research and education for examinations necessary for criminal investigations, identification of the cause of incidents and accidents, and scientific investigations in the Yeongnam area.

Forensic Toxicology & Chemistry > Drug Toxicology Office
  • Examination on drugs, narcotics and hallucinogenic chemicals in confiscated evidences and biological samples including urine and hair
  • Examination on medicines, poisons and natural toxins in autopsy samples, postmortem specimens and other on-site evidences
